Booking an Assessment

To begin the assessment process, clients may contact the practice to discuss their concerns and determine the most appropriate type of assessment.

During an initial consultation, the psychologist will discuss:

• The reason for referral

• Current concerns and goals

• Recommended assessment components

• The assessment process and expected timeline

A referral may be accepted from parents, physicians, nurse practitioners, schools, or other healthcare professionals. A physician referral is not required by the practice to begin the assessment process.
